High-Reflection (HR) and Anti-Reflection (AR) coatings are available on either the backfacet or the output facet of the chips. HR coatings are performed using a thin gold film while AR coatings are performed using index-matching deposited layers.

HR/AR coatings are specially useful for external cavity applications.

Some temperature restrictions apply. AR/AR coatings are not available.
